The Position

The Manager for data analytics will be responsible for managing data analytics strategy across various solutions.


  • Working on Tableau

    • To work on building the Tableau based Analytics Platform Solution for the customers

    • To make a presales presentation to the Clients on Analytics Platform

    • Serve as a point of contact for technical assistance requests related to Tableau

    • To come up with innovate ideas to improve the solution and increase the reach of the platform to a larger customer base

    • Lead and participate in strategy discussions related to Tableau

    • Liaise with external groups and Tableau experts for additional training and feature updates

  • Team Management

    • To manage the team of developers to build the solution

    • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.

    • Lead internal efforts to build staff capabilities in Tableau platform

  • Data Analysis, Modeling, and Reporting

    • Mine and analyze data from company and customer databases and leverage the data

    • Gather customer requirements and build custom Analytics based reporting and analytics solutions

    • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques

    • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets

    • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes

    • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy


  • Strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations

  • Experience in visualizing/presenting data using Tableau dashboards with embedded analytics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.

  • Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation

  • SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics

  • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

  • Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.

  • Experience using advanced statistical analysis tools (SPSS, Rapidminer) with large and complex datasets

  • Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.

  • Experience working with and creating data architectures

  • Practical experience with SAS, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics


  • Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc.

  • Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, etc.
