Work Location: Chennai

The Lead Director - Transitions is accountable for the success of an assigned transition project. He/ she is responsible for an array of activities including initializing, planning, implementing the plans, tracking and reporting of project deliverables, managing risk, applying project management processes and tools and ensuring projects are completed with high customer satisfaction and in a timely manner.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle end to end transition/ramp up of new and existing accounts and manage the project scope and schedule

  • Formulate, design and construct transition projects and present transition solutions internally/externally

  • Understand and deliver on the requirements of the detailed transition implementation plan for new client proposals

  • Should be able to perform a due diligence during the transition period to align with the contractual obligations and set expectations on the transition with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Be the single point of contact with the client, the implementation team and senior management to provide 360 degrees view of transition management.

  • Ensure all possible risks that can adversely impact project timelines are highlighted in time and mitigation plans are in place. Brainstorm with the team and prepare internal risk & issues management procedures.

  • Lead and execute structured governance with key workstreams involved in transition implementation (HR, Recruitment, Admin, Technology, Process, Finance & Legal)

  • Develop the over-all transition project plan and guide the knowledge transfer leads in creating the per process/workstream project plan.

  • Follow the transition toolkit and strive for continuous improvement in the toolkit documentation.

  • Drive internal high impact initiatives such that they are executed per plan and receive excellent internal customer feedback

  • Develop good working relationships with Clients, Shared services, Cross functional and Operations teams

Qualifications and experience

  • Should possess 12 to 15 years of work experience in ITES sector.

  • 1-3 years of healthcare services-based experience is preferred.

  • Previous experience in Transition Projects from international customer locations is required. Should have supported remote/onsite Process Transitions.

  • Should have exposure to Project/Transition Management functions and preferably completed training programs in project management/related programs
