accessgiving - Our Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative
Access Healthcare is committed to grow in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. Our corporate social responsibility initiative, accessgiving, reflects our commitment to make a sustainable impact to the communities that we live in.
Providing access to quality education
We support education of underprivileged children by adopting schools in the vicinity of our offices. Through accessgiving, we contribute to the society by way of monetary support as well as through the contribution of skill and energies of our volunteers.
With education for all as our guiding vision, we provide these schools with the infrastructure and financial support besides the skills of our people to enable children in these schools experience the joy of learning and reduce dropout rate.
Amongst the programs we have executed are health and hygiene awareness camps, painting the walls of the schools with interesting murals, imparting life-skills coaching, providing platforms for sports events, mentorship for the children, and providing tuitions in selected skills areas.
Additional projects. We also support other initiatives such as blood donation camps, disaster relief, Swachh Bharat (Community cleanliness drives), planting saplings amongst others.
Impacting Lives - Recognizing True Winners in Our team
Adversity causes some people to break, but some go on to become true heroes. We did not have to look too far as we sought to recognize true game-changers and found them from within our teams in Coimbatore. Meet Dharani Marappan, Abdul Samathu K, and Prabha, whose story of rising back from their personal setbacks serves as an inspiration for all of us. This video, shot by amateur videographers and video editors from our staff, narrates their journey.
Supporting The North Texas Food Bank
The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit relief organization, providing access to more than 190,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families across a 13-county service area.
Our Chairman, Anurag Jain, also serves as the chair of the board of directors for the The North Texas Food Bank.
In fiscal year 2017, NTFB and its feeding network provided access to almost 70 million meals. The need for hunger relief in North Texas is much larger; to combat increasing food insecurity in North Texas, the Food Bank recently launched a 10-year plan to provide access to 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025. NTFB is a member of Feeding America, a national hunger relief organization.
EWI has a 37-year track record of convening dialogue and back channel diplomacy to develop sustainable solutions for today’s major political, economic and security issues.
