Chennai: The Dallas-based entity is known to leverage its strength in domain and technology, especially after launching the beta version of its Robotics Process Automation (RPA) platform solutions last year. Today, Access Healthcare has 12 delivery centers across the US and the Philippines with a staff strength of 8,000-plus. It supports over 1.50 lakh physicians, serving 80+ specialties, processing over $50 bn of A/R annually, and ascribing medical codes to over 10 mn charts annually.
“We are in the business of creating value propositions for our clients, but not through the labor arbitrage route. Once our latest deal gets formalized, it will help us achieve the 10,000-headcount milestone by the year-end,” says Shaji Ravi, President-MD. The market in the US is still huge, offering scope for healthcare service providers to make sizeable incomes through offshoring models, he believes.
