Access Healthcare's CSR Initiative, accessgiving Wins Best CSR Impact Award 2019

Access Healthcare’s CSR initiative, accessgiving won the Best CSR Impact Project of the Year Award in the Healthcare Category by UBS Transformance in the 2nd edition CSR Summit and Awards held on 28th and 29th November at Renaissance Hotel in Mumbai, India.

accessgiving, the CSR wing of Access Healthcare, has adopted a total of 12 schools across Chennai, Pune, and Coimbatore, in alignment with our stated commitment of “enabling the communities we live in to grow and thrive”. This initiative touches the lives of over 2,200 school children, who will benefit from the various skill-development and coaching programs that we implement with the objective of empowering underprivileged children through education. We have also been able to transform the lives of over 80 differently-abled individuals, by providing suitable employment opportunities and other support. In addition to specialized training by dedicated life coaches proficient in sign language, the company provides technology tools for effective communication and collaboration at the workplace. Other key priorities of accessgiving include environmental awareness, road safety awareness, and enhancing computer literacy in society.

Ms. Shahina Khan, CSR Project Lead received the award on behalf of Access Healthcare. This award is a testament to our effort and an honor for our employees who volunteered close to 3000 hours this year for various initiatives. We dedicate this award to each and every volunteer who has enabled us to make a difference in the communities we live and work in!
