Client Partner - Prior Authorization

Job Location: MCKINLEY HILL, TAGUIG CITY (Work from office)

Job Description

  • Collaborate with insurance companies and internal teams to facilitate the prior authorization process on behalf of healthcare providers

  • Obtain prior authorization from insurance companies before medical procedures or services are performed on patients, by

  • Communicate with physicians to gather and accurately document patient information and treatment details

  • Review and verify medical insurance claims to ensure that they meet the coverage criteria

  • Address inquiries from insurance companies, and ensure timely approval to facilitate effective patient care

Job Requirements

  • Fluent verbal communication for outbound calling

  • Knowledge of medical business office procedures

  • Basic accounting skills for a healthcare business

  • Detailed understanding of ICD-9 and CPT codes

  • Basic working knowledge of computers

  • Familiarity with clinical terminology will be an advantage

  • Willingness to work continuously in night shifts

Qualifications

  • 1-4 Years experience in Prior Authorization services for US healthcare clients

  • Familiarity with popular medical billing software packages will be considered a plus. We will provide training on any client-specific software to be used.
